One week ago, today, Robert asked me to marry him and I SAID YES!

This is all very exciting, and theres so much to do. I know 2018 started off badly, kinda confusing, but everything has calmed down and theres something bright in the future. Robert and I are planning to have a small civil ceremony followed by a meal with a few friends and family later this year. We will have a proper reception in both America and the UK! We really just want something private and intimate for now.

Robert is planning to move to the states to be with me so money is VERY tight. He is going to be selling a lot of his art to help save for this move. He’s currently selling comics, which are his very first attempt into the comic world, on his ETSY! He plans to put more in his store to help fund this move, too.

If you’re currently interesting in his art, please keep an eye out at his ETSY. And if you would like to purchase the comics you can do so here:

I want to thank everyone for their love and support that they have shown to us both during our announcements. I am very happy and very loved. So thank you!

Robert Maltby Art for Auction

This year, Robert is going to be a vendor at the Whitby Goth Festival. This is a very exciting time for him as he has never been a vendor at any other event before. So, if you’re going to the festival be sure to find him and say hello!

So this is a pretty big deal and Rob wants to make sure that he has enough inventory for the weekend and provide you guys with things that have never been released anywhere before.

Rob has put 3 paintings up for auction on Ebay. 100% of the earnings will fund his printing costs for the festival. Depending on how much he earns will depend on how many copies, exactly what he prints, etc.

Each auction winner will recieve their painting and much, much more! The paintings will be posted immediately after payment. When Rob finishes printing off everything for the weekend, he will send each winning bidder a package with 1 copy of everything that he has made! So, not only will you be winning one of the below, you’re going to get everything that he was able to fund to be printed.

These auctions are only open to the UK.

Show Me Your Kitties

The Blind Date

It’s been a while….

So I’ve been so busy with life lately that I even forgot about this blog.

So heres the short and sweet. Life happened. I went off medications. I went back on to them. I have been sick a few times in the last few months and I have been trying my hardest to be in a positive mindset.

Going off of the Prozac really set me back mentally and put me somewhere dark. I hope that now that I am back on it that things will regulate. My blood sugars have been really far from perfect, and my eating routines suck. I haven’t been to the gym in 2 weeks, but that will hopefully change once this Bronchitis passes.

All in all, I promise to post more.

“Your hotel hall wont be so vacant”

Everyone (should) know by now the love that I have for Marilyn Manson.

Since 1997 I have been in love with the man and the band that made Marilyn Manson. I have several Marilyn Manson tattoos, own tons of memorabilia and have even met Brian Warner and hung out with him and Dita Von Teese.

His music always spoke deeply to me. It was as if every word was being spoken or sung directly to me. His music made me who I am today, which is a very stable, successful and smart woman. He taught me not to care what the world thinks or what society says is standard. There were countless nights where life seemed impossible, but I would turn on that music and everything melted away.

People blame the music, art and entertainment for their faults, when really they should be looking at themselves. This is what he taught me.

You don’t have to be goth, punk or alternative. You don’t need to be popular or trendy. You just need to be YOU. You need to stand up for what you love and what you feel is right. He never said that we should do what he does or follow his lead, just to be your truest self.

Even though I am in my 30’s, I love him just as much as I did in 1997. However, I may not devote every waking moment to him or his music. I may not go to every single show that he plays within a certain radius. That doesn’t change the love that I have.

What i’ve learned is that Marilyn Manson wants us to live our lives as an individual, to our fullest. And for this stage of my life, I am living by making memories, traveling and being (unfortunately) a financially smart adult. Inflation has really upped the costs for concerts and not only have I missed MANY shows of his, I’ve missed many shows in general.

I have bitched about the costs of Marilyn Manson’s shows, compared to the past, compared to the lineup and set lists. Frankly, Marilyn Manson doesn’t give a fuck about me and if I go to the show. I’m one out of millions of his devoted fans.

I am going to his show in Baltimore, February 2018. I am tickled and excited, just as I would have been when I was 13. Of course I want to be right up front, make eye contact and sing along with him. Of course I want to buy merch instead of food that week. Of course I am going to be in awe no matter how amazing or how bad the show may be. Of course I am going to be the happiest girl in the world.

I may not look like I used to. Or act the way I used to. But I’m still the same Karah as I was when I was a ‘mansonite’. Im not active on forums because I don’t have time for that. I don’t keep up with all the Manson news real time anymore. I work, I take care of my family, my health and unfortunately medical bills that take up a lot of my paycheck. I don’t have the privileges that I used to have.  Just dont forget, I’m still here. I’m still in love and I’m someone stupid just like you.

Creeper Crate

Since the lovely people of Nerd Block went out of business, I needed a new subscription box to subscribe to. I loved Horror Block, despite their horrendous shipping issues, their items were pretty cool to get monthly. There’s something special about mystery subscription boxes, almost Christmas-like.

So, I stumbled upon Creeper Crate. I know some of my lady friends are subscribed to them, but somehow my mind has been everywhere and I forgot about this cool box. I finally joined, just at the right time of the year really. I mean, HALLOWEEN BOXES!! You guys know my love for Halloween is stronger than anything, so I am more than excited about the Halloween box.

Creeper Crate cater to the ladies, but this box could be used for even males. I mean guys love bath bombs too (don’t let them fool you, they DO!). But the previous themes are amazing and right up my alley.

Please use my link below to subscribe if you’re interested. If I get 3 friends to use my link, I’ll get the next box free. I’m not too pressed about my free box, I just want to share this with my friends! I think the best part about mystery boxes is discussing what is inside the box with fellow friends.

So, if you’re interested in taking a peak at Creeper Crate, just follow the link here:

SCREAM – The World’s Number One Horror Magazine

The very kind people of SCREAM Magazine sent me a copy of the July/August edition of the magazine to review. I’ve honestly never heard of this magazine before, but that doesn’t mean much. It’s a UK based magazine that publishes issues about all things Horror.

Upon receiving the package I was very impressed. It was sent in a plastic mailer with a neon green logo of the word ‘SCREAM’. I was impressed because I really dislike magazine companies that just mail magazines unprotected. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want my magazine wet from the outside weather.

The magazine is about the same size of Rue Morgue and it is printed on nice stock. The cover featured many articles and details about what was inside the issue. It was bound well and the materials just *felt* nice. Inside there were loads of interviews, adverts and the layout was nicely designed.

Without going into to too much information about what was inside of the magazine, I definitely feel that any Horror Fan would enjoy reading the contents inside. I think this magazine is perfect for all those who adore horror as much as I do.

I filmed my unboxing, which you can see here, please disregard my – mindlessness. I was not fueled enough with caffeine to speak. I should know better. Coffee before filming, Karah!

Also, be sure to check out SCREAM Magazine with the links below! I recommend and suggest everyone give them a go. They are reasonably priced and I am pretty sure that you’re able to find them locally in Barnes and Nobles!
